I took off my throttle body to clean it and now my car wont start someone help.

Was running just fine before you did throttle body?

main relay ever been replaced????when key is turned to on,not start THE check engine light comes on,then when it goes out,does it CLICK?if not it ain't starting!!! put some gas in too! when it get on 1/4 tank,consider that as empty!!!

it was running but just surging so I cleaned the throttle body. what is the main relay? what do you mean clicking?

it makes a clicking sound

well it's not the main also called the fuel pump relay then.very common problem on the 90's up into the 2000's, all makes and models,it's a cold solder joint inside the relay on the green circuit board.really don't need to remove the relay,just take a small screwdriver and take the guts out and resolder the cracked/cold solder joints on the green circuit board and snap it back in.then it's new again.but not your problem.do like Nahdee1 said,check behind your work AGAIN,and put some GAS in it.you're missing one of these>>.. #1 compression #2 ignition/spark.. #3 air/fuel... not really in that order.

ok so it cranks up and runs but cuts off before 3000 rpms
