Just wondering what would be more common the oil pan gasket has a little rip near one of the bolts holes figuerd that could be my problem need some feed back im just a rookie

Clean oil off, make sure crankcase is full, start the engine to see where leak starts at. A uv sensitive dye can be added to oil and after running engine it can be checked with a blacklight, the dye will flores (glow) at the spot of the leak!
