I have a 2007 lincoln mkx and i am wondering why or what would cause it to stutter/stall when cruising at 30-45? Otherwise totally a great vehicle.

It seems like it stalls out if you dont "get after it" going up hills, also doing 30-45 and rarely at higher speeds. As a older car mechanic I suspected the transmission cause the motor seems solid. Or a electrical miscommunication?

What makes this problem better or worse?

30-40 mph or incline
