I do not accelerate or send any fuel to injectors when I push on gas. Car idles

i cleaned throttle body, did not fix, i bought an innova scan tool code reader. knowing very little about them this the 3130e said it had fixassist which would break down the codes and give me the fix. so i hooked up scanner. and i got back about 12 codes. now i know ive been running the car with all the lights on the dashfor a while. maint req, check required. and i have some issues. but this came out of the blue. i accelerated, then it just quit sending fuel completley. none. car went into street tHen slowed. theres no in between. wont give me a little gas, or work pthen wont. it has no stall problem. it idles fine and will drive at idle speed. tha float is not opening. it wouldnt when cleaning the throttle body. i know u said have someone help but no amount of pushing that petal, with ignition on or off opened that chamber, so i had to do it myself. it started right up and idled high, till it warmed but never chsnged. now i hook up scan tool and have even more codes. with the evap vodes and all =had one throttle pos sensir code. po2138. initially; after cleaning throttle body, i recieved another pedal position sensor code with the orig. I did pull apart and clean but not good, ,po2121. almost same thing but says switch curcuit d, instead of d and e. and it doubled up on my other codes, it lists 20 issues with obd global and with toyota, yet its the same exact codes twice. so this fixit deal on my scanner is not telling me something i understand but the codes, and those mean multiple things i suppose. i will list all codes at end. i just believe my issue is two fold, the gas not getting to the throttle body. the petal could have something to do with it. cant tell by just the code. not that savvy on reader yet' now this scanner has other results with different numbers and dollar values i do not understand. i willlisy a few so i know what to look at if theres any other infoon herr thst could be helpful. lots of tests it did, so if you can tell by some of the info , let me know and ill give it to you. i need to learn this scanner, i dont know if im not up to date with updates or some pay for diag checking of my data. is required. i havenot got with innova yet. i did the live data test for linkup if u need it. i just dont want to play the keep paying money i dont have to find out what i can learn. but im not a mechanic, im learning cars fast because i cant pay the prices to fix. so im kinda at a stand still, my gut says its the fuel pedal sensor switch , 2 codes. but that can always mean something totally different right? I have to fix all of these issues I know, but for now i have to get this thing accepting fuel again. all i know is that throttle body is not recieving fuel. well its not opening. its getti g fuel to idle. will any more info from scan tool help. should i go find a usb cable so i can link with innova, should i just call them or is tjat wasting my time and money. or can i provide you with any of this info and it may help. how do i test the fuel pedal pos. sensor? could it just be dirty. can i bypasd, man theres so many things on this tool, o2 sensor test. osbs1s2(1/2), evp test' on one of the c odes the first it gives about three screens of numbets, the code is po420 catylst system eff. below something, then screens of a language i dont know yet, then the other codes. and the pedal pos codes are last. i will now list all the codes it gives me, it also gave me powertrain live data stats(ltft-2.3) spark adv9.0 maf o.8 tps 17.3...o2sl-b1s12--, has 18 live data lines i guess02sb1s2(v)0.410,...stft b1s2(0/0) 99.2, lambda b1s1-1.006. om my screen at top it says im monitor status and has little green round indicators the ..mis,fue,ccm,cat,eva,o2d, and htr green lights are lit the motor check engine light is on, and the codes were;in order,,,,po420, catalyst System EfficIENCY + below threshold (bank1); that is followed by screens of info. on test numbers. like map aNd temp and mph. nexot was code 2- it is PO101, MASD OR VOLUME AIR FLOW CIRCUIT RANGE/PERFORMANCE; (3)PO102- MASS AIR FLOW CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION,.....PO113- INTAKE AIR TEMP CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT; ...PO-441-EVAP EMISS CONTROL SYST. INCORRECT PURGE FLOW; ...PO442 EVAP EMIS. CON. SYSTEM. Look on the very top of the accelerator pedal for the wire harness connector to the APP sensor .. Make damn sure it is plugged in firmly! .. The problem is likely within that sensor .. When this is fixed, throttle plate will respond to gas pedal movement with key on.. Concentrate on the gas pedal sensor first!! .. Another very important test to make is > in a quiet inviorment, have a helper get in car, shut door and turn key on .. Have helper push gas pedal to floor while you *listen closely* to the throttle body .. Can you 'hear' any response from the throttle plate motor at all each time gas pedal is moved?? .. Post the results! .... The cost of this scanner is usually *way more money* than even the advanced DIYer wants to spend as it would not be practical .. However for these type problems it has proven to be priceless! .... It is Snap-on - Modis Ultra.

ok i took sensor off pedal. and now cannot find auto part store who sells sensor. autozone and oriley both. wth... napa says its 600 and looks nothing the thing i have. all on line stores let ook same. price from 25 buckd ps to 70 for oem. guess ill call toyota god forbid. ill get back.

Did you do the test (listen at throttle body) .. It is possible the plastic gears are worn in the t-body motor... Should hear motor try to open throttle plate... If no sound, it is not getting a signal... Good luck with it!!

yea i heard nothing. so i took the sensor off this morning. the one attached to the accelerator pedal. the acc i suppose. i cleaned it. re attached it. started up the vehicle, and now every now and then it will rev up. only when the pedal gets to the floor, will it race like i floored it. never does it give any more rpms all the way down. only when it gets to full open then it sounds like it would when its floored. so what are the chances its still the app sensor, or did i not clean the thtottle body enough. both codes say its the accelerator position sensor. problem with that is i cant seem to find the exavct part anywhere but online. parts stores act like im speaking chinese. gona find a app sensor first. go from there..thanks....... Ok pushrod. i finally found another accelerator pefal posution switch, or sensor, or electronic accellerator position sensor. Its called by many things, nobody in the parts stores in crakafornia knows what it is. Nobody carries it. I can get a chinese knockoff on the net...no thanks. And toyota does the usual. Wont give me a price directly on net. Wants an email ans will return a call. Then informs me just as with a fitting on the charcoalbox, and a fitting on the heater hose tjats abstract and not in auto supply stores. I must purchase a whole unit of things to get what i need. Yhe vavum fitting , needed the whole charcoal box, a hh fitting, required both heaterhoses from firewall to block. 130x2. And for my part now the app. I have to purchase the whole throttle body position sensor package witch comes with app sensor, or the whole throttle body , so i went to the junk yard and found a toyota oem part used. For 50 bucks. It worked and my problem.is solved. Thankyou for you help my friend. I do eant to say that my innova 3130 e did properly detect and diagnose 2 codes and told me exactly what was wrong.....along with 16 other codes that dissappeared when my problem was fixed. Except 4. I have a leak in my evap.........thanks again. ,......now i have another issue. Pass side headlight went out. Bought 2 new sylvanias at walmart. #9003, installled the one that went out first. And it came on but very dim. I switched it for other new one. Same thing. Took out good side. Put new nulb in and it blazed. Put second bulb in it blazed. So i left it in and reinsertrd it into spot. Now it wont come on at all. The good light.and tbe left is still dim. The grease that was packed into the connector. Could that be a problem. It was rainingband moisture was everywhere. I left the grease in the holes of fitting. They bothbwere packed. From the fsctory i suppose. Combined with some moisture could this be my problem. I yook my cirvuit testor screwdriver and i set the ground and tested all three slots that the prongs went into. Two of them came on and the third did not. Is this normal one a ground. I went to test the good side and my cheap dollar store testor broke. Should all three plug in holrs light up or just two. Thanks
