Not sure if it's the starter or the fuel pump on my car but I tapped the starter and it started back up turned it off and it cranked but didn't start ??? What's the problem ????

If your starter is cranking the engine, but it is not starting, there is a problem with fuel, spark or air. Testing is required to find out what is going on. If you have to tap your starter to get it to crank your engine, you could indeed have further separate issues there as well.
