Hello again, When you go to pick up transmission fluid, the auto parts store will have specifications for every fluid level on the vehicle. If you have already purchased it, you can add a few quarts, start the engine, and add until you see it show up on the tip of the dipstick. After the engine warms up, add ATF until you are at the full-warm mark (or just 'full').
Disconnect battery 'negative' cable for 30 minutes to clear KAM (Keep Alive Memory) .. Test drive vehicle -two trips - then re-scan for codes. Also - if capable - with key on - engine off - check TPS voltage from closed throttle to wide open throttle - should see under 1 volt closed - to over 4 volts wide open. (I don't know if your scan tool has live sensor data)
One more question. If I get a code saying the throttle sensor is bad.I replaced it and the check engine light still is on.The car won't pass emissions.I have drove it 80 miles and it hasn't reset. Can u please help?Thank you so much
Ok, scan again and let me know what code is still present. The throttle position sensor code should clear quickly, so I'm interested to see what comes up.
