How can you replace lug nuts on the front, passenger tire without removing the wheel bearing?

There’s a way but I do not recommend it - therefore I’ll not go any further than to say GOOD LUCK! Perhaps a google search may offer something but remember this is what’s keeping the wheel from coming OFF of the vehicle!
BTW - It is called > LUG STUDS .. You’ll need the LUG NUTS as well.. IF the short cut method is chosen - be absolutely sure the LUG STUDS are fully seated against the wheel hub - otherwise the wheel may run off while driving - that ain’t gonna be fun!
Thank you!! I’m a female with VERY limited knowledge of car facts. I just want to make sure I’m not being taken advantage by the people I’m having do this work. They’re saying l need to pay for a new wheel bearing. Mine is actually new, but l guess ld need to have a new one “calibrated” whatever that means. An alignment, and long labor fees. Total of 589$. Doesn’t seem right for replacing 3 8$ lug STUDS. (Thank you for the correction!! I’ll sound more knowledgeable speaking to them today. I appreciate it)
I agree about the charges that are levied by repair shops these days - I’m an old school mechanic and used to charge $25.00 per hour for labor .. However gas was .35 per gallon then too.. It is best to have this repair performed in the safest manner and hub replacement is definitely the safest way to go here.. Seems like everything you go to buy these days cost 4 times what it should!
Seriously, l sincerely appreciate your reply and wisdom!! You made me feel better about all this and gave me a more clear understanding of the potential hazards of taking a cheaper route and l feel more knowledgeable about this repair!!! Thanks so much!! Enjoy your day
You’re welcome, nice day to you as well.
