What is your question?
I would like to do it myself. Back up lights don't turn on when manual transmission is put in reverse.

Hello, Start by checking fuses, then check to see if the bulbs are bad. They do go bad at the same time sometimes. Afterwards, if you have no power to them, look on the side of the transmission by removing the wheel. The connector and switch are installed in view from the wheel well. Test there with the key on, engine off, park brake on, shifter in reverse. If no power to the switch, switch may be good, if power to the switch but not from the switch to the lights, switch is likely bad.
Buy a new switch ,find the one on the side of the trans that looks like the new one and remove and replace it with the proper sized socket, do not use an open end wrench or the switch will be damaged. Put thread sealant on the new switch prior to installation. Torque to 24 inch pounds or snug.
