how do i find out why my car broke down and how to fix it

while i was driving my car made a noise under the hood, like something fell out... at the same time my car shutters & my tcs light comes on... then my car started to lose power & my oil & battery light's come on & i lose my power steering. then my engine stalls an now it wont start. but the lights & radio work fine. i just replaced the radiator, fuel pump, purge valve & some sensors. i also replaced my entire suspension pretty much... i do need to replace the steering rack though. i drive a 2003 Hyundai Sonata, with 184,000 miles. what would make my car do all that and how do i find out what is wrong when the dash lights dont come on now.
