How can I get my car to start after changing the starter

(2004 Volvo S60)

I bought this car recently, had issues with the car starting, knocked on starter while turning key car started, changed starter now turns over but won't start at all
How long have you had this problem? 1 week

If it's turning over strong then you need to start with basics like fuel and spark. You can rent a fuel pressure tester and spark tester at most auto parts stores. You can also scan the car for trouble codes which can point you in the right direction.
