Heater core bypassed,new water pump and thermostat,coolant clean but overheating

(1990 Volvo 240)
The radiator hoses when squeezed and car is off they put make the reservoir gurgle. The car is over heating and spilling coolant from the reservoir once its heating up. No leaks anywhere.

Was the overheating an issue BEFORE all those listed parts were replaced? IF YES , then I agree with the head gasket assessment. CAN be tested to verify , for probably about an hours labor , at any competent shop.

Sounds like a blown head gasket!
