What is your question?
Won't start if left off for more than two days. Once started, starts again first time every time within 2 days. Then won't start unless jumped and gas pumped repeatedly. Battery always checks out good. Dealer says no drain on battery, no codes on computer. Engine runs fine. Check engine light has been on for 12 years - truck runs fine and passes emissions, but CO now requires no check engine lite. No codes on computer - dealer and repair shops can't fix. Could it be altitude - how to reset computer?

12 years???thats crazy.try disconnecting the negative cable only, for 10 minutes.leave positive connected to battery.hook negative back up after 10 minutes.see what happens.
Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor compensates for altitude... Should read same as barometric pressure 'at location' on scanner live data... As well as what the actual problem is! Each time the engine will not CRANK because of dead battery.. Codes have been erased... I can not understand why this can't be fixed! What is the repair facility's excuse?
How to fix MAP? Repair shop wants $2,000-3,000 to reprogram computer! When car won't start, battery acts dead, but I'm told it's not, and after starting once, it doesn't need to charge to start again. Might be fuel evaporates after 2 days and fuel injection doesn't compensate?
thank you. Disconnecting battery doesn't work, but I'll try just removing one cable. Has done this since bringing to Denver from lower elevation. Completely rewired in the beginning, but that didn't work either.
