Had Serpentine belt replaced this week today car was squealing high took back to repair shop now they say tenioner is in need of repair looks like they should have known this when they replaced the serpentine belt correct? I should say had to have it towed back to the repair shop cost me $111 as well. Now repair shop says tensioner needs repair. Also fluid was spilled on the ground asked repair shop about they state they did not see any leaks.

Hello, honestly, the tensioner pulley could have become suspect when tension was released initially for the belt replacement. It's not the shop's fault this happened -- and they couldn't have necessarily known that this part could or would fail. When you have to remove or manipulate a component to replace another component, problems may arise.
