What is your question?

Once the car has been driven and parked in the garage, there is a gas smell in the garage. But if the car is left in the garage undriven for a few days, there is no gas smell in the garage. When starting the car, there is also a faint gas smell.

What makes this problem better or worse?

No gas smell when engine is cold.
