What is your question?
The manual says after three cold cycles the light should go off it's been six cold cycles and it's still on. Now the check engine light is on and neither will go off. Auto zone says it's the gas cap I've bought a new one and still the same results. Had the truck for under a week bought as is. What can I do??

Will require a real scan test including EVAP system service bay functional test... 'More' than likely needs EVAP system smoke test to locate leak .. Fuel cap is simply the most common source for system leak, obviously not on this one .. Therefore it's not a DIY or a parts store repair! https://repairpal.com/repair-shops
"The Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) is used to prevent gasoline vapors from escaping into the atmosphere from the fuel tank and fuel system. The EVAP system usually requires no maintenance, but faults can turn on the Check Engine light and prevent a vehicle from passing an OBD II plug-in emissions test."
