We believe we need a new front differential on a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee..wondering what this may intell as far as labor(# of hours) and also the price of a used front differential? thanks

Having your front differential overhauled by a reputable dealership is much better than purchasing a used componect. The dealership has the proper tools and knowledgeable technicians to do the job right. You can requst that all old parts be saved for yor inspection. You do not know the condition of the used part and it may fail soon after installation. You will have to do some research for labor and parts prices in your area. Here in California, dealership labor is as high as 180.00 per hour. Average time to overhaul a differential is about 5-7 hours.
