I had my flywheel replaced, no flywheel noises now, but i have a deep knocking noise when i give it gas, and when i let off the gas it gives a rapid tapping noise then gets quit till i give it gas again. can something that was done while replacing the flywheel be causing this noise?

the bolts securing the flywheel to the crankshaft have to be torqued to about 80 lbs. the bolts from the torque converter to the flywheel have to be torqed as well. sounds like this may be your issue. return to installer and have them re check there work Roy
I've tried to get the installer to fix it ,to no avail. he came to my house 3 months ago and said the sound was coming from the front of the motor but needed to research it for more info on the enternet and now won't answer his phone, answers but lays it down and won't talk. never returns my calls. i figured he's a big butt head and really don't want him touching anything else to mess up.( a former gm tech my fffffff but is all i'm saying who needs him.) there are a lot of real fair and good machanics out there.
