The wires that make up the seat heater are very thin and prone to wear and breakage over time. Because of this, the most common cause of a heated seat that does not work is a faulty seat heater element. But it can also be the result of a simpler problem: a faulty switch, a corroded electrical connection, or a blown fuse. Some drivers complain that the heater becomes too hot. In some cases, a malfunction in the seat heater can cause the heating element temperature to rise too high, causing burns to the occupant.
Can I drive with a bad Seat Heater?
