Car runs and cuts off during operation and wont start til it sits for awhile. Oil pressure gage indicates low oil pressure.

It is a good possibility that your Crankshaft Position Sensor is intermittent. Other possibilities include but are not limited to the Distributor Assembly, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and associated wiring.
