What is your question?
when I got to work yesterday morning, my check engine light came on. went thru vehicle information panel and it said oil pressure of 23 psi. oil was changed 2 months ago. not due for oil change for just under 1000 miles. Oil distick is full. i have 42,600 miles on my car, oil change due 43,061 or by 02-23-19. Drove car home and would not go over 40 mph. No leaks or noises.
What makes this problem better or worse?

23 psi oil pressure is excellent - no worries there! However the “check engine light†needs to be investigated - that is not related to oil pressure directly - it denotes an operating system performance concern, namely emissions. A professional scan test, along with any necessary subsequent *hands-on* testing, will provide the required diagnostic information so a repair solution can be derived and administered .
Unfortunately, here ‘online’ - even with the many years of experience in the field of automobile troubleshooting and repair - we cannot possibly determine what the actual failure is without the required *hands-on* testing as previously mentioned. https://repairpal.com/repair-shops Good luck!
