What is your question?
My endeavor stalled while driving. I replaced the battery, fuel pump system and crank sensor. It turns on but won't start or turn over. What else could it be? Spark plugs are good. There is nothing firing.

It turns on but won't start or turn over? what turns on? won't turn over? does that mean the starter is not cranking the engine over? not cranking over has nothing to do with the fuel pump! so when you turn the key to crank/start it,nothing happens or you have interior lights, head lights, radio, windows roll up and down?
We have the same problem with our 2005 endeavor, when we turn the key to try and start it, it tries to start but doesn't (almost acts like it's flooded), wants to start but doesn't. My husband took out the fuel pump and looked at it and put it back in (he had just filled up the tank with gas) found a couple pieces of small debris like blue paper towel pieces, put the pump back in and then it started fine until he filled it up with gas again, it started at the gas station, but now won't start again after it sat overnight. This is what happened before and it starts sporadically here and there last time, no rhyme or reason (then he took the fuel pump out to look at it, then started after that). This is so frustrating, we can't take it in to have it looked at because it's not consistant (we'd rather fix it ourselves if we can).
I don't know how to edit my reply and see it says answer instead of comment ~ there are no codes coming up either that anything is wrong with the 2005 endeavor not starting
you can't edit your comment or answer once someone answers it,even if you answer it or someone else does.,what happens when starting fluid is sprayed in the throttle? does it crank and start/run until the starting fluid is gone? only spray a couple sprays in there, carefully! got to have spark, fuel, compression before it starts/runs! if missing any 1 of the 3,it ain't starting! it may crank the engine over all day,but engine will not start!
My husband says there is no carburator because it's fuel injected and he doesn't know where he would use the starter fluid. Car started this morning, so when he gets time again, he'll take the fuel pump out again and check for more debries. Makes no sense why it starts and then won't start and that it is just happening now after we've have the car for about a year and a half. The dealership did do the recall on the fuel filler pipe and wondering if something came loose (debrie) or if something got in there while they were replacing that
i never said carburetor! i said throttle body..needs a professional scanner hooked up when it won't start,it checks everything, and that cost money to have done, but worth it in the long run, because the scan tool does not guess,it pin points the problem! not starting after re-fueling has something to do with the evap system, and i have read several complaints on several different folks vehicle with the same problem. don't know what to tell you, unless it would be to trade it or sell it and get something else, like a Toyota,or Honda, and i don't like telling people to do this.maybe one of the persons that ask the same question on this page last year found the problem and will see this and post the fix for it..good luck, sorry no help.
Thank you ~ I called the dealership to make sure the recall on the fuel filler pipe wldn't create this problem and they said that the recall fix wldn't have any affect but that they had 3 cars with the same problem (one was towed in). He said to use Premium gas in the winter (because of the cold and the quality and that should fix it). So my husband said that made sense as it has run all week and we had a discount on premium and he put premium gas in it and then had no problems with it starting and then he just refilled it with non-premium gas and now we have the issue again......so hope it's that easy, we shall see, but seems to go along with what we did and what the dealership said (he said it fixed the three cars that came in with the problem we were addressing and that this happened only when it got cold (winter season).
when you are filling it up at the gas station, once the pump kicks off the first time, don't try and fill it to the rim, stop pumping fuel after the nozzle kicks off the first time! most of the Mitsubishi's i have seen, use Premium Fuel ONLY! IT IS STAMPED/LABELED INSIDE THE FUEL DOOR "PREMIUM ONLY".most vehicles have charcoal canisters, vapor solenoids/valves on them..if you over fill the car, then when you try and start the vehicle and the canister is full of fuel,it pumps raw/liquid fuel to the engine and won't start the engine,it floods it.if yours says premium only, then that engine was designed for running premium only, but by putting regular in it won't keep it from starting! the dealer probably knows exactly what the problem is,they just wont tell you, because they want you to bring it in and leave it with them so they can charge you a $1000.00 for fixing their problem that they won't admit to.
Yes, we don't fill overfill it/top it off & my husband tries to stop it about 3 gal before the shut off on the pump click, but thanks for the info on that. Our dealership was awesome in advising the premium gas and to avoid bringing it in to them (most dealers are like you say wanting the money/service, but ours is good at helping us figure stuff out first without bringing it in) I don't remember it saying premium on fuel door, but will look and will start using only premium from now on, we used to do that with all our vehicles, but got lax about it. (I went out and looked and it says premium recommended on the fuel door)
I have the same problem, 2004 endeavor, when I turn the key to try and start it all it does is try to start but never actually turns on. It just sounds like it wants to but fails to start. Help please. Someone walking by said it was my starter but I thought it wouldn't try to start if it was my starter? So I'm confused
when you turn the key to start it and the engine is spinning/cranking over, then the starter is working.
