for the passed months or so , my jeep has been having this issue ... it goes on for weeks it'll go away and come back again , jeep is in park i press the gas let it go and it'll spudder like it's bout to turn off ... when braking on a traffic light it does the same ...spudders and feels like it's gunna go off , sometimes it does go off and it will turn back on with no problem ... i was told it may be the fuel pump going bad , others told me it couldnt be the fuel filter cause jeep liberty dont come with a fuel filter , is this right? .... computer diagnosis said it had a bad maf sensor ...i replaced it and it had no change ... help ! please!

FUEL FILTER IS PART OF THE FUEL PUMP MODULE ASSEMBLY,MOUNTED INSIDE TANK.NOT SERVICEABLE.WHY DID YOU REPLACE MAF SENSOR.LET ME GUESS,SOMEONE PULLED THE CODE AND IT WAS PROBABLY PO171 AND PO174,AND THEY TOLD YOU MAF SENSOR WAS BAD,CORRECT.
