What is your question?
I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla with 105,000 miles. The temperature guage started fluctuating between H and C so I got off the highway and brought it to the nearest mechanic. We agreed to install a new radiator but is it necessary to install a new thermostat? The car did not show signs of actually overheating though there was a leak in the radiator and no coolant.
How long has your 1994 Toyota Corolla had this problem?

It would be a wise choice to replace the engine thermostat at same time! Engine coolant will have already been drained with radiator replacement and that just saves time - not to mention thermostat replacement is likely overdue anyway..
