Cooling fan comes on along with electrical symbol. Temp gauge drops to zero.

My father in law has done this. He's ase guy. But the only code is a cooling system code.

A FULL scan test (ALL modules) - using a professional quality (high dollar) scanner - should show an ASE certified technician where the problem lays. Good luck with it!
