Hello, coolant gets into engine oil typically through a breach of anything that protects the two systems from being in contact, such as cylinder head gasket failure, cracked cylinder head, cracked engine block. There are other ways this can happen also, for example -- anywhere that cooling passages serve to cool engine lubricated components like for vehicles with an EGR or engine oil cooler. In any case, a pressure test of your cooling system is a great place to start testing.
