When I accelerate, my car makes this non stop clicking noise, untill it get out of second gear. It also takes its time to accelerate.

Maybe one of your axle shafts needs replacement, need to have a technician test drive and listen for the noise

i have a 2004 suzuki verona with same problem. so far i have changed right rear strut mount with no change to problem.
