sometimes misfires, sometime smells of fuel, heavy exhaust manifold sound.

An exhaust manifold leak, intake manifold gasket leak, or vacuum leak (manifold sound as you describe) will all cause these symptoms. Find out what the cause of the noise is, and go to autozone to get check engine codes scanned for free and post here and then someone will be better able to assist you.
Thank you. The following diagnostic codes came up : p1773, u0100, p0431, p0421, p0446.
p0446-evap system circuit malfunction which would require diagnosis by a qualified mechanic. Two other codes p0431, p0421 are bank #1, and #2 slow catalyst warm-up time which might be caused by the p0446. p1773 is an ABS system fault, but most likely a failed wheel speed sensor. The speed sensors are not inexpensive, so you would be better off to take your vehicle to a dealership, or a qualified mechanic that has the correct ABS scanner to locate which wheel sensor has failed. The u0100 is a transaxle communication error code which is likely caused by the wheel speed sensor being faulty. As far as the exhaust noise, have the EGR system checked for cracked tubing. and clogged EGR passages, and check also for restricted catalytic converters on both bank #1, and #2.
very helpful, will take it to a qualified technician
Awesome, Best of Luck.
