What is your question?
the Check Engine light has been on for over 5 days and the dealership said it was because of some small piece of dirty stuff in the cam tensioner. To fix it would cost around $2,400. However the tensioner is just a little device worth of $50, why they charge so much and is there a place I can fix it at a reasonable price?

anything you have done to it will be costly.soon as you pulled in to the dealer, they happy!
Our 2011 Cayenne S was towed to the dealer because the engine light went on and stalled 5 minutes later. The dealer stated that it was a bank 1 or 2 cam issue and will cost us approximately $2300 to fix. As I was researching about this, I came across your post. I wonder if this is a defective issue we need to address with Porsche.
