car does not idle when stopped unless accelerator is pressed. replaced PVC valve

already did that :( One guy at an advance (Using google) said it could be a computer issue $500.00; what about a sensor problem

yes,it could be a sensor.check engine light on?could be iac valve,needs cleaning,or replaced?guy at advance just trying to make a big sale.

Replaced air valve. Engine light has been on since 2006. LOL Tried unclogging filters etc., What type of sensor would that require? Is it costly? Sorry, just thought of this. My air conditioner went out, previously running perfectly, at the EXACT same time. Coincidence? or just rotten luck? Thank you so much

Not sure of the code. I'm sorry. Yes the engine light has always been on. Not sure about the emissions in VA. Thanks for all of your help. And also easing my mind about a computer issue costing several hundred dollars. I truly appreciate it.

take it to Autozone and have the code/codes read,ask them to print the code/codes out for you,it's free.then post code/codes here.

maybe wendyb3 will post the fix to maybe help others with the same problems!
