What is your question?
I've been hearing a screeching sound from the front end when driving and the mechanic told me it was the rotors. After having the brakes and rotors changed, I still hear the screeching sound when I drive. I did some researched and found out that it could be the break wear indicator sensor. Is it possible that the sensor went bad, and can it be changed?
What makes this problem better or worse?
The faster I drive the louder it is.
How long has your 2008 Nissan Rogue had this problem?
Several months.

Why / how could a brake wear indicator be making this noise when you stated the “brakes and rotors were changed” ? ... The wear indicator is irrelevant until brake pads are worn down to the point it contacts the brake rotor. The well trained ear of a seasoned automobile technician is invaluable for these concerns. Recommend having such personnel test drive the vehicle.. Good luck!
