Can I remove the DVD player from a 2007 Toyota Sienna?

I'm looking to purchase a Sienna and the one I just checked out is almost perfect, but the overhead DVD player won't turn off and won't eject the disc that's currently in there. I won't use it anyway, so is there a way to just remove the entire unit? As a side note, this vehicle has an aftermarket sunroof installed right in front of the DVD player. Will this affect the removal of the DVD player?
