At 92,000 now having excessive oil consumption losing a qt about every 1000mile

How should I go about diagnosing what and where it is going without costing $$$

Honda doesn't consider it excessive oil consumption unless mileage is under 1000 miles. there is a TSB starting with the 2009,but not the 2008..Honda will blame on the owner's driving and maintenance habits probably...
