alternator should turn ccw freely, mine turns both ways freely

I read possible faulty alternator if both dir turn freely and have seen clutch pulleys for sale and heard could be issue with internal fan sticking. looking to solve vibration only at idle issue. Checked idler tensioner pulley it very smooth in operation, battery voltage is 13.7 not running and 14 when running.
