AC intermittently comes on in off position when car is cranked.
What is your question?
Also both normal and recirculating indicator lights glow when a/c selector is in one of the normal positions (head/feet, etc.) Diagnosed as Control Head problem. I don't find a part by that name - find Elec Engine Control Module or Elec Chassis Control Module. Which Module would apply or what else could be the problem?
Sorry, they said 90% sure and since the parts you referenced had a different name than "control head" I was confused. They quoted me $400 for the part and remarked that was less expensive than expected so I thought it must be an electronic part they were talking about. Total quote was $600 so I don't want to be taken advantage of.
Then copy and paste that link I posted and see how much one is on eBay! .. It's not that hard to replace this part, you probably have a car savvy friend that'll do it for you .. I can not say for sure what the problem is .. Good luck!
RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2008 Kia Rondo. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
So the fix sounds like the AC Heater Control panel rather than one of the elec control modules?
'You' stated it has been diagnosed as control head problem .. I only posted a link to where you can find one at the best price.
