2011 Jeep liberty blend door

What is your question?

I have a 2011 Jeep liberty, I have heat on passenger side but ice cold air coming from driver side. I am assuming the Driver side blend door is broken. Actuator is working. I don't have the money to have someone replace the distribution box or want to remove the dash. My question to you is is there someway I can drill a hole so I can get access and lift that blend door so I can get heat? I don't have any diagrams showing what inside the distribution box or know how the blend door sits or looks like inside the box.
