1997 Mazda B4000, fuse 17 is good but no power to cigarette lighter. What now?
What is your question?
There is a cigarette lighter and two 12v accessory sockets all fed by purple/blk wire with no power at any time, regardless of ignition switch position. Wiring diagram in Chilton and Haynes has no reference to fuse 17 (fuse tests good on ohmmeter).

*TEST* every fuse you can find on the vehicle with key on .. Takes maybe 5 minutes using a test light... No matter what the fuse application is for, assume nothing > TEST IT!
Gee, I should have thought of that, seriously! I was so focused on under-dash wiring (I had, indeed tested all of the fuses in the fuse panel located on the left side of the dash) that I had forgotten all about the fuse box in the engine compartment - Doh!
Replaced a 30A fuse and all is well in 'truckdom'. I had not recognized it on the fuse box data, the protected circuit is called "Power Point" and I hadn't realized that this fed the 12v accessory outlets (I forgive me, I'm old). Thanks for the kick-start. Take care, Be Safe.
