Hello, the missing element of the vehicle needs to be found. Are you missing fuel? Spark? Is there an air or vacuum leak? Once you find out what you're missing, you can troubleshoot. Guesses could be a PCM or fuel pump relay intermittently inoperative. TFI module. Total guesses. Hands on inspection and testing is needed.
Why replace fuel pumps (obviously dual fuel tanks) - what prompted you to do that?
Are the fuel pumps operating ? ... In a quiet environment - You should be able to hear the selected tank pump turn on when key is cycled on - do you hear pump? Troubleshooting is a simple process of elimination through systematic testing - nothing more.
