08 Kia optima LX. Left front impact accident. Why car stopped starting?

Day 2 after accident my Kia took 3secs longer to start, then eventually 5 seconds to start and then 8secs to start. Until it died after a week while car lights, automatic seats and radio still worked. Tried to start engine and a ticking noise wouldn't start. So later I got a jump and car stayed running all day no light indicators. Though after engine is off for 3minutes the car hesitates to start but does start and run. It's not until engine is off too long that car won't start. Car eventually went dead dead. Before it did- while car was off the lights were dimming and radio backlight dimming, seats and windows moved slowly until battery died for good. Now the lights, horn, key remote, windows, radio etc doesn't respond and there is no sound when placing key in ignition and turning key over. I will say that when car used to be off, I think I could feel a very faint vibration as if engine didn't turn off.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Better if running all day. Runs normal
