03 saturn l200 wont start. All dash light , radio, headlighs all come on but car wont turn over. New battery, starter was checked and is fine. Car will start when putting a wire from starter to the positive battery cable. HELP!!

Have you tried cranking engine with shifter in *neutral* position?

Yes. Still nothing

Have a helper HOLD the key to start position - while you tap lightly on the starter motor housing using a small hammer or such tool - IF the starter responds at all - install a better quality starter!

We tried that also. And had the starter checked and it was fine.

Jumper starter - as you’ve been doing - then drive vehicle to local auto repair facility for *hands-on* testing. You could try to find a *no crank* diagnostic flow chart - however that requires automotive testing skills that the average DIYer simply doesn’t have.
