1994 Lexus ES300Visitor, Abilene, TX, December 13, 2012 08:26I bought my Lexus a couple of years ago and it's a GREAT car, But...! The valve seals started leaking; now it smokes and uses oil like crazy ($2,800). The check engine light is on after absolutely everything($1,400) has been replaced. The dash light for the "OD transmission problem" has been going on and off every since I purchased the car. Yet, It stays on for a few hours and then it goes off and nothing seems to happen. **Nickel & Dimed**Flag ThisLike0

1994 Lexus ES300Visitor, Shrewsbury, MA, September 25, 2011 19:11I bought a Lexus directly from a dealer when a 2 year lease was up. That was 1996 and now it is 2011 and except for a current exhaust repair, routine and preventative maintenance prove Toyota/Lexus quality is good for over 230,000 miles. How many other car manufacturers can demonstrate a car's longevity in a state covered with salty roads a third of the year. Thank you Balise. AmyFlag ThisLike0

1994 Lexus ES300justme12, Antioch, TN, June 05, 2011 08:26My car will not accelerate after 30 minutes it gets hot and I have to let it sit for some days. What will cause your car not to accelerate?EnthusiastFlag ThisLike | 8 people like this8

1994 Lexus ES300keithsplace, Louisville, KY, November 07, 2010 07:51Purchsed used in 2000. Love it and always will. Great ride and comfort. Not afraid to jump in and drive across the country in it. Had a few repairs but mostly maintainance and age of the vehicle. Never let me down unless you count a punchured tire flat. I get a lot of "This is a 94, wow looks great for a 16 year old car".EnthusiastFlag ThisLike | 2 people like this2

1994 Lexus ES300Visitor, Madison, WI, April 17, 2010 08:57God gave me this car. I purchased the 1994 lexus 300ES in 2006 because JD POwers still rated it 4 1/4 stars over all. It's the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Replace the tie CV Joints in 2008 ($289) but thats minor considering it had over 200,000 miles. For 1 1/2 years I drove it back & forth from Madison Wisconsin to Detroit Michigan every 2 weeks to see my wife and daughter with not 1 problem. Today I'm online to see how to change the brakes.Flag ThisLike | 1 person likes this1
