    my elantra would fail to start after driving it for several miles but if i let it sit for 20 or 30 mins.it would start,and then it got where it wouldn't start when it was cold,and the only way we could get it to start was to turn on different things like ac,lights,etc.,and that findly stop working and now it want start at all.does anyone know whats wrong with my car? williambrawley62@yahoo.com

    I have a 2000 Elantra with just over 200000 miles and have not had any significant repairs. Still have original exhaust system. Only changed brakes 2 times. I am the original owner and plan to continue driving the car for many miles. My family and I were part of the national ad campaign for Hyundai in 2000 and have to say the testimonials that we gave were 100% true. Great car and plan to replace this one with a new elantra when the time comes.

    it lasted for about 155,000 miles after that i have to say i have put over $3,000 into and it is still bringing in new problems mostly transmission but there have been many more issues
