windshield wiper switch and module

What is your question?

hi, are the switch and module the same part???? I don't see anything referring to the module on my extended warranty but do for the switch.I was thinking they are the same part. thank you::::::Joe

Hello, The windshield wiper module is different that the switch. If there is a control module, this is an electronic device placed (likely) behind the dash. If this is a wiper motor module, it is a unit that connects to the wipers and drives them. It also may have an integrated control module. The switch is the multifunction switch that you use when turning the wipers on and off.
