Rolled window down on my 89 comanche and would not roll back up, just get a clicking noise. Took door panel off but can't see how to get to the problem...behind sheet metal.Need advise,Mike

This diagnosis and repair is usually something not done at home. The sheet metal is hard to get around, very sharp, requires drilling out rivets and installing new rivets with new parts, etc. You likely have a faulty window regulator, based on the clicking noise. Could be a motor instead, but I can't assess that from here. Good luck!
Thanks for the info DaveJHM. Sounds like a tough fix for me to do. This is not an electric window , does that make it any easier? thanks again, Mike
Thanks for the clarification. I've seen this before on a Jeep; there is still a regulator problem - manual window. Again, still a real bear to get into.
