What is your question?
I bought it with the stability traction control light on. I didn't know tht would effect the driving in wet conditions so badly. When the stc is off the awd turns off too n the power steering quits working good. It also shakes when slowing down. It leaks horribly from the moon roof which could actually be the whole cause of this making the warning lights or sensor come on which turns off all the safety features. It also makes a noise from the front of the engine when I start it which if it is what a ton of other ppl have complained about. My timing chain will need replaced soon. I just don't understand how so many ppl can complain a lot even wrecked thier suzuki bc of the stability traction control n awd being off. N nothing is done! It's a 7 passengr vehicle I'm assuming for ppl with kids. I know thts why I own one. This is a safety issue and needs to be addressed. In all the years making the xl7 there were 54 complaints but the 2008 model has 154. Safety should be first!

Hello, stability control works with the anti lock braking system, causing a nightmare with driving the vehicle in inclement weather. Troubleshooting must be performed to find out what has failed in the traction control / anti lock brake system. With respect: your vehicle is nearly 11 years old, with an unstated amount of miles and an unknown history. Vehicles develop problems as they age. This is not abnormal. I am not certain what your question is, if any -- but it sounds as if you are suggesting Suzuki should be responsible for the troubles in your vehicle? Again, your vehicle is 11 years old now, with an unknown to us amount of miles -- and you just acquired the vehicle from a previous owner. Unfortunately, you bear the full responsibility of making repairs at your own expense of your vehicle. You are correct: This is a safety issue! Suzuki bears responsibility for manufacturer defects during the base warranty period. After that, it's up to vehicle owners to maintain and repair their vehicles.
In addition - it is always a good idea to have qualified personnel perform pre-purchase inspection of any used before purchase agreement .. That probably would have been helpful in this case especially since there were indicators a problem existed prior to purchasing.
