Why is there a whistling sound coming from my vent when I put my fan on.
What is your question?
The higher the fan the louder the whistle. Turning off the air and the recirculation buttons didn't make a difference. But turning off the fan did. It also "appeared" to sound as if it was on one side only but that may be my hearing.

You might make sure all registers are fully OPENED for full airflow first, then go from there TO the cabin filter, make sure it's installed correctly with the access panel completely closed. If neither helps you could have debris or other issue. Sorry long day lol
