why is my check engine and throttle light on?

I have a 2011 jeep compass latitude 4wd loaded w/ 2.4 ltr engine. The check engine light and Electronic Throttle Control light came on and the dash lights dim when I put my signal on. Any suggestions?

I suggest bringing your vehicle into a qualified repair shop to have your PCM(computer for your vehicle) scanned. I believe that your Check Engine Light,Electronic throttle control and dimming problem are related. I would like to think that you may have a charging system issue.
