The check engine light is on. The truck is cutting of when slowing down to take a turn. Keeps cutting off when coming to a stop.

Hello, which engine do you have? 4.0L V6 or 4.6L V8? Same principles apply to each; check for fuel, air and spark. Check for any vacuum leaks. Check the check engine light for trouble codes that can give you clues... (if you have both a P0171 and P0174 for example, look hard for vacuum leaks or a mass air flow sensor issue...)
