Can someone help me figure out why the ignition turns freely with key in it

What is your question?

The truck don't start the key turns freely when it's put in the ignition I replaced the lock cylinder and still doing the same thing no lights or anything turn on all its does is making the ringing noise. What's the next things I need to check
