What is your question?
Flashing Green key appears on dashboard when trying to start the car but it only spends over it won't start like it's out of gas but there is gas in the tank.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It would be completely better if I could get my car not only to crank up(which it does) but start up and drive without any issues or problems (which it dont It won't start up at all) and the annoying little flashing green key will stop clicking off and on.
How long has your 2004 Honda Civic had this problem?
After replacing my old steering column with a used steering column assembly with ignition/keys included about 3 days ago

Hello, the green key indicator flashing shows a concern with not having a properly programmed key in use trying to start the car. Try to use a key that has been properly programmed, or seek guidance at a repair shop or dealership to resolve the programming issue. By the way, this was caused by replacing that pesky steering column with keys. You have to program them. And yes, you'll need to have someone help you with that.
