My 2003 windstar idles high when it first starts then when i start to drive it chugs when it hits about 40 mph for the first 15 minutes of running after that it runs fine( or so I think). I also have a rattle noise that is coming from the front drivers side. Thank you any help would be great. I have no service engine lights on or any type of warning indicators. Before I take it in to a shop I would like to have some srt of idea so i am not spendng tons having them find the issues.

I had a few problems like bad gas i changed the fuel filter 4 times last 4 years lived hawaii
after i drove 20 miles and then changed the filter the rough idle stopped, It is driving better, after the tune up i did it drives better then ever but i did change the throttle sensor very easy. And the tps For the transmission but now have a sound when i put it in drive like a loud thomp
